Who we are

This website is run by Knowle Roofing Company, a roofing business serving Knowle and the surrounding areas. You can reach us by phone on 0800 494 7291.

What we collect, and why

When you use the quote form we ask for your first name, phone number, town or postcode, a description of the roof problem and, if you choose to give it, an email address. We use these details only to contact you about your enquiry, arrange a visit and prepare a quote. If you ring us, we may note your name, number and address for the same purpose.

Our lawful basis

We process your details because you have asked us to take steps towards providing a service, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. If you become a customer, we keep records needed to carry out the work, honour the guarantee and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your details. We share them only where needed to do the job, for example with a scaffolding contractor who needs your address, or where the law requires it. Our website host stores form submissions on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within a reasonable period. Customer records are kept for as long as the guarantee runs and as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Ring us to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
